At the point where I have to choose your keyboard layout, I can no longer use my keyboard or mouse. The keyboard & mouse combo: Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot 2. 3. Actual Results: The keyboard & mouse doesn't work Expected Results: Being able to write and use keyboard.
Confirmed here with latest minimal livecd (install-x86-minimal-20101005.iso) and the following mouse/keyboard combo : > # dmesg | grep -i keyboard > microsoft 0003:045E:009D.0001: input,hidraw0: USB HID v1.11 Keyboard [Microsoft > Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop® 2.10] on usb-0000:00:10.1-2/input0 When booting the livecd, I can use the keyboard to choose the kernel (and options) I want to boot to, but once the kernel is booted, the keyboard is no longer recognized and does not respond.
