Comment 2 David Abbott (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-04-11 23:20:11 UTC
Looks like missing dep, installed sys-fs/lvm2 and emerged fine.
Comment 3 Philipp Riegger 2010-04-12 12:26:49 UTC
I already had lvm2 installed, but I got the same error. Re-emerging it fixed it.
Comment 4 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-04-12 12:34:25 UTC
There was a bug in lvm2-2.02.61, which is fixed by patch in gnome-overlay, and fixed in upstream for lvm2-2.02.62. weak linking to -ldl in Makefile's.

closing as invalid then, since the broken lvm2 has never been in portage.

( my lvm2 is from here http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=309757#c4 )
