Description Martin von Gagern 2010-03-09 16:46:20 UTC
Emerging alsa-driver/alsa-driver-9999 prints this error message:
xargs: Warning: a NUL character occurred in the input. It cannot be passed through in the argument list. Did you mean to use the --null option?
rmdir: failed to remove `//lib/modules/2.6.33-gentoo/kernel/sound': Directory not empty

For non-live ebuilds this was addressed by bug #182773 resp. alsa-driver-1.0.14.ebuild r1.1, but the live ebuild still has the broken syntax from alsa-driver-1.0.14_pre20061130.ebuild r1.2.

This might be a good time to check what other modifications from recent release ebuilds would be suitable for the live ebuild as well. Looking at the diff, some configure switches seem likely candidates.
