Hello, I'd like to announce fork of original iptraf-3.0.0. I've collected almost all patches from gentoo, debina and fedora and applied them against original iptraf. Resolution is that iptraf has support ipv6, +9 interfaces and autotools. Trac https://fedorahosted.org/iptraf-ng/ Git repository git clone git://git.fedorahosted.org/git/iptraf-ng.git Mailing list iptraf-ng@lists.fedorahosted.org IRC(nick is npajkovs) iptraf-ng at irc.freenode.net You are more then welcome to send me your patches and feel free to ask. Regards, Nikola
Created attachment 221695 [details] An ebuild that works Couple of notes: 1) configure wants to use ncurses' pkg-config files but sys-libs/ncurses doesn't install those, so we have to work around that for now. 2) Some of the homepage and e-mail addresses still relate to the old iptraf, (upstream) patch to follow.

1.0.1 is out. I've asked upstream to explain why configure expects pkg-config files for ncurses.
I've put 1.0.1 in the tree, but in package.mask as well until the blocker bugs are fixed.
The p.mask entry has been removed since neither blocking bug got any attention. Arch teams, to replace the unmaintained net-analyzer/iptraf, please test and keyword: =net-analyzer/iptraf-ng-1.0.2 Target KEYWORDS="~alpha ~arm ~ppc64 ~s390 ~sh ~sparc"
Keyworded on alpha.
~arm keyword added.

Builds and runs fine on x86. Please mark stable for x86.
Tested on SPARC. works very well, monitors my network quite nicely. Definitely a candidate for stabilisation.
Stable for HPPA PPC SPARC.
