In compiling it looks for: /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.4.2/libgomp.la

Workaround:

ln -s /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.4.3/libgomp.la /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.4.2/libgomp.la
