After my last system update, Monotone kept crashing during commit operations. On the development mailing list we nailed it down to a recent change in the API of LUA.

The error does not occur if dev-lang/lua (version 5.1.4-r4 here) is emerged with "deprecated" USE-Flag, so actual and also upcoming ebuilds should force that flag until the API of LUA changes have been followed upstream.

This will be fixed in Monotone development version "1d1d93c561a8087e893cbd0f3b374400195ad436" or rather in the 0.47 official release.

Thank you for report Philipp! 0.47 was just added to the tree. This bug is fixed.
