Comment 1 Benny Pedersen 2010-03-04 17:17:02 UTC
i got problems with the initrc not working for me, unsure why but it tells me innd is not started, but it is started
Comment 2 Arnaud Launay 2010-08-17 11:10:08 UTC
2.5.2 is out, and 2.4.3 (current stable) does not compile anymore due to the -Wl,--as-needed being now in the default profile...

Any reason this is not stable yet ? 2.5.1 runs fine on my host (amd64).

Comment 5 Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2010-12-01 15:15:10 UTC
With FEATURES="test" emerge process i blocked on line:
authprogs/domain........ok

I see another error:
chown: cannot access
`/tmp/portage/net-nntp/inn-2.5.1/image//usr/lib64/news/lib': No such file or
directory

When you modify ebuild please remove "die" after econf ;)

thanks

Stable for PPC.
Comment 7 Thomas Kahle (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-12-12 10:27:47 UTC
Fails tests (bug 348490) and has minor QA issues like:
QA Notice: USE Flag 'perl' not in IUSE for net-nntp/inn-2.5.1

x86 stable anyway as current stable does not build.
Comment 8 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-12-21 17:07:15 UTC
amd64 will pass until these problems (at least the QA one) are fixed

Fixed a while ago (without anyone from amd64 noticing?).
