Please bump sci-electronics/qucs to Qt4 snapshot (port), or at least look into it. Thanks
Created attachment 215577 [details] qucs-9999.ebuild for nightly tarballs (no SCM involved) Here's a ebuild to test. It's dloading nightly qt4 snapshot, so no SCM's involved here... can easily be renamed to e.g. qucs-0.0.15_p20100107 ebuild
Anybody who can test that please do so as I can't test on kde right now. If you can commit it then feel free to do so, if not just tell me and I'll do it. Denis.
I've tested here and this ebuild at least builds and runs fine. I have no time to do more tests now. BTW, i'm not a KDE user too, i'm only using Qt4 with Gnome/Ion3
Bumped to latest snapshot. Thanks Samuli Older versions were removed except the stable on ( 0.0.12 )
Reopening. The Qt4 port haven't really been updated since 2008, and while it doesn't crash, it's lacking most of the features Qt3 version has (bug 301665 for example) This is why I posted it here, instead of CVS for people who actually use it to test :) I guess the development is stopped, at least, stalled
0.0.15 should be put back into the portage tree since it worked fine. Qucs 0.0.12 will not load projects saved with version 0.0.15 so 0.0.15 has to be re-instated. 0.0.15_p20100115 should be either hardmasked or removed because it lacks most of the functionality of 0.0.15. It is a rude shock to a user to do an upgrade, find the new version can't do anything, then discover that they cannot easily revert to the previous version. For now I have put qucs-0.0.15 into my overlay.
Nothing left to do here, 22 Mar 2010; Ben de Groot <yngwin@gentoo.org> -qucs-0.0.12.ebuild: Remove qt3 versions wrt bug #283429 and #300043
