Description Denis Sokolovsky 2009-10-16 23:01:29 UTC
On my system there are is 3 packages (sci-libs/fftw, media-sound/sox and media-gfx/imagemagick) which compiled and worked without errors, but always triggers "revdep-rebuild" to rebuild them.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install media-gfx/imagemagick
2. run revdep-rebuild

Actual Results:
# revdep-rebuild
* Configuring search environment for revdep-rebuild
...
* Checking dynamic linking consistency
*   broken /usr/lib/ImageMagick-6.5.4/modules-Q16/coders/art.la (requires /usr/lib/libgomp.la)
*   broken /usr/lib/ImageMagick-6.5.4/modules-Q16/coders/avi.la (requires /usr/lib/libgomp.la)
...

Expected Results:
revdep-rebuild finishes it run without attempt to rebuild recently installed package

such messages appears in compilation time (of fftw in this example):
