Attached patch against 2.2_rc33 fixes two common spelling issues:

1) The portage sources use both URI and URL - since some exposed variables use URI, let's settle on that.

2) Sometimes plurals of abbreviations are spelled FOO's, which suggests a possessive of a singular FOO whereas it really is a plural.

The patch also corrects some spelling errors I incidentally found reviewing the changes.

This is fixed in 2.1.7 and 2.2_rc45.
