Kicker 3.5.10 gets patched in the ebuild with the pach kicker-3.5.10-post-r850417.diff from kdebase-3.5-patchset-13.tar.bz2 This patch introduces graphical glitches at the background of kicker's windowbar. See the respective KDE bug at http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=173349, which has been reported by another Gentoo user. I manually compiled kicker with the same configure options as the ebuild did, but without applying the patch and the glitches are gone.
If I right-click at the control bar and choose "fix the control bar" followed by "unfix it" the graphical glitch is away.

To be sure I tested it without the last "repair" patch and that brought back the glitches, so it definitely helps here. Thanks !
