Description Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-07-04 20:26:27 UTC
If I read bug 227941 right, above version is needed stable for kernel 2.6.25. So please cc arches if you see fit.

No, I think 1.0.0.20 wasn't working with 2.6.25, but now is. I don't think it's a requirement stabilization requirement for that kernel, especially as 1.0.0.20 is only needed for workstation-6.0.4 and player-2.0.4, all other players/workstations/servers etc require a different version of the modules. To the best of my knowledge, all the modules are working with 2.6.25, just some not with 2.6.26...

If that helps, please mark the bug as FIXED/CLOSED/INVALID? If I've not quite got what you meant, please let me know and I'll see what's what. Thanks... 5:)

Ok, you got it right and now it is clear to me. Thanks for clarification. Closing.
