The link on the "Get Gentoo!" page for the 2008.0_beta2 LiveCD image points to a "CD" image that is too large for a CD. This has been fixed in the livecd-i686-installer-2008.0_beta2-r1 image. See Bug 219827.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Follow link on http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/where.xml for Gentoo 2008.0_beta2 LiveCD i686.


Actual Results:  
The image is 878,878,720 bytes and cannot be burned to CD.

Expected Results:  
An image less than 700 MiBytes (or preferably less than 650 MiBytes) that can be burned to a CD. 

The file livecd-i686-installer-2008.0_beta2-r1.iso is approximately 670 MiBytes and thus suitable for burning to CD.

Whoops.

Looks like Bug 219827 is a duplicate of Bug 219803 which has has the
information about the 2008.0_beta2-r1 being fixed.
