Description Mark 2007-12-11 19:48:40 UTC
Under Xorg 7.3 my wacom tablet behaves like a normal mouse instead of a tablet. According to the linuxwacom website: "http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/howto/download"

linuxwacom-0.7.9-3.tar.bz2	-	2007-11-30	Support kernel 2.6.22. Temporary workaround for Xorg 7.3. Support up to 8 screens. Support Bamboo1, BambooFun, and Hummingbird

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a working tablet set-up under Xorg 7.2
2. Upgrade to Xorg 7.3

Actual Results:
The tablet behaves like a regular mouse instead of a tablet. wacdump /dev/input/wacom shows that the driver is working fine and all the tablet inputs are being registered.

Expected Results:
The tablet should behave like a tablet, passing pressure-sensitivity and absolute positioning data to applications like the gimp.

Bumping the linuxwacom version up to 0.7.9-3 might fix this problem... although I don't know enough about e-builds to do this myself. If someone is willing to make the e-build I can test it with my tablet.
