Hello, i'm unable to install gentoo from the livecd-amd64-installer-2007.0. each time i fall at: dev-lang/perl-5.8.8-r2 (50/116) in /tmp/compile_output.log there is the following error: chroot: cannot run command '/var/tmp/spawn.sh': no such file or directory strange because this file exist in the chroot (/mnt/gentoo/var/tmp/spawn.sh) and the rights are good: -rwxr-xr-x spawn.sh contains: #!/bin/bash -l rm -rf /var/tmp/portage/* /usr/portage /tmp/* exit $? my hardware config: barebone asus p2-p945g celeron 64bit 3Ghz corsair memory 1Ghz sata maxtor 130Go cdrw LG 52x32x52x slices: /dev/sda1 /boot ext2 100Mo "bootable flag actived" /dev/sda2 swap 250Mo /dev/sda3 / ext3 "space left" i've tried with the default slice partitionning tried with the networkless and the advanced configuration from installer GUI and TUI. tried with a second burned cdrom. no boot options added. i've not found a stage3 archive on the CD, i can't continue the install manually. (my evening is lost...) FYI: i've no internet connection on this computer and i don't want it for the moment, i'll try later to insert a stage3 from an usb key becasu i've only on cdrom drive.
