Description Christian Lerrahn 2007-05-23 12:56:01 UTC
While ipw3945 1.2.0 associates fine using wpa_supplicant, version 1.2.1 seems to make it very hard to associate. The network is never started on boot and manually it sometimes takes several times until it succeeds, sometimes the module has to be unloaded and reloaded to associate.
Checking the ESSID it looks like sometimes I end u[p on the wrong network, sometimes the ESSID stays switched off. The ESSID is mentioned in the wpa_supplicant config.
I've added the URL of a thread where this has been confirmed by several people on the forums.

Reproducible: Always

you know, we've had really only complaints about 1.2.1 -- I have hard masked it entirely so that we can just continue on with 1.2.0.

Thanks

For your info, it is working flawless here, and has done so since release :)
