media-video/mplayer-1.0_pre8 depends on =media-libs/x264-svn-20060612 when compiled with the encode and x264 use flags.  This package no longer exists, and updated versions of mplayer and x264-svn appear to break x264 encoding in mencoder.

Steps to Reproduce:
Check ebuild as of 1/26/2007.
Actual Results:

                x264? ( =media-libs/x264-svn-20060612 )

media-video/mplayer-1.0_pre8-r1 appears to have the same problem.

Sorry for the mess this caused, =media-libs/x264-svn-20060612 has been readded.
This should not have been removed for now.


It seems that we still have a lot of work on bug #157814 remaining.


By the way, could you explain a bit more why the updated versions of x264-svn break x264 encoding with mencoder ? (perhaps on a new bug)
