on amd64, bjfilter ( bug #128560 ) fails to build with =app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-baselibs-2.5.5 because of openssl 0.9.7 which seems to suffer a bug:

/emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.7: undefined reference to `HMAC_CTX_set_flags'

emerge -1 =app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-baselibs-2.5.4 solves this.
