Description Aurélien Francillon 2006-09-14 03:08:13 UTC
Hi,
The demo script of >=gnuplot-py-1.7 fails when dev-python/numeric-23.7 is installed upgading to dev-python/numeric-23.8 fixes the problem.
dev-python/numeric-23.8 is "~amd64" while gnuplot-py-1.7 is "amd64".
If eligible marking "dev-python/numeric-23.8" stable would fix the problem.
This does not seems to be amd64 specific as packages has same keyworking I can test on x86 on request.
Thanks,
Aur

Comment 2 Tiziano Müller (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-02-24 08:56:20 UTC
Since numeric is deprecated in favor of numpy, changing subject and adding bug #181888 as dependency.
Comment 3 juantxorena@gmail.com 2008-07-06 13:29:59 UTC
There's no version in portage that depends on numeric. This shouldn't be closed?
Comment 4 Sébastien Fabbro (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-07-08 10:23:36 UTC
fixed in cvs and 1.8.
