Comment 2 Zac Medico gentoo-dev 2006-07-31 16:32:32 UTC
Arch teams, please test this and mark it stable. This release includes fixes
that are considered stable from the 2.1.1 branch (bug 136244 is the 2.1.1
tracker). Bug 126748 is particularly important be cause it's frequently triggered be the modular X dependencies.

Christian, your emerge --info says 2.1-r1, not -r2, did you test that one? :)

-r2 works for me so far.

Yes! I copied `emerge --info` before testing it, I keep all bugs I want to test open and add the information to all of them in one pass...saves time.
Comment 6 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2006-08-02 04:18:45 UTC
seems to work fine to me. (Better than the previous in any case.)
Marked ppc-macos stable
Comment 7 Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-02 18:12:09 UTC

Comment 8 Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-03 11:47:50 UTC

Comment 9 nixnut (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-05 03:10:16 UTC
Stable on ppc.
Comment 10 Luis Medinas (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-06 13:24:59 UTC
stable on amd64 because we are the best!
Comment 11 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-09 13:15:10 UTC
ppc64 stable, thanks
Comment 12 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-09 16:20:45 UTC
Anybody mind if I stable this on alpha/ia64/mips/x86 since we've been building the release with this version and haven't had any issues?
Comment 13 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-11 06:20:51 UTC
Since I got no objections, I take that to mean "Sure, Chris, go right ahead."

alpha/ia64/mips/x86 stable

ppc64, this isn't marked stable in CVS, adding you...
Comment 14 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-11 09:23:36 UTC
Marked ppc64 stable, evidently you actually have to commit to make changes. When will portage read our minds? Thanks
Comment 15 Zac Medico gentoo-dev 2006-08-11 10:24:30 UTC
All stable. Thanks.
