Description Troy Telford 2006-07-12 14:48:49 UTC
dev-dotnet/gecko-sharp requires mozilla.

Mozilla blocks seamonkey. (and vice-versa)

The following require seamonkey:
dev-util/devhelp-0.11-r1
dev-util/eclipse-sdk-3.2
gnome-extra/yelp-2.14.2-r2
www-client/epiphany-2.14.2.1-r1
dev-python/gnome-python-extras-2.14.0-r1
media-video/vlc-0.8.5-r5
media-video/totem-1.4.2-r

And gecko-sharp is needed by monodevelop.

%s/mozilla/seamonkey/g on the dev-dotnet/gecko-sharp ebuilds (and a recompile) seems to fix that.

Similarly, the monodevelop shell script needs similar treatment. between mozilla and seamonkey.

Not sure what else might apply...

Agreed, replacing mozilla with seamonkey fixes the problem. Moreover, I think that www-client/mozilla is about to be removed from portage in the near future (isn't it?) so it would be best to remove all dependencies to it from ebuilds.
