Please test and mark app-doc/gimp-help ~ARCH as follows: ~alpha ~amd64 ~hppa ~ia64 ~mips ~ppc ~ppc64 ~sparc ~x86 This ebuild is split-out from media-gfx/gimp in preparation for the upcoming gimp-2.4 release. It is currently only used by the media-gfx/gimp-9999 live CVS ebuild.
looks like corsair got this for ~ppc64. removing us from cc
~ppc done
~amd64 added
~sparc'ed.
I am about to add the latest development snapshot of media-gfx/gimp (2.3.9) to portage to expose it for some testing before gimp-2.4.0 is released. If app-doc/gimp-help keyworded ~ARCH for your specific architecture I'll have to drop some KEYWORDS from gimp-2.3.9.ebuild. Just a heads up :)
I think Brix meant "is NOT keyworded ~ARCH..." Anyways, ppc is already done by lu_zero, so dropping us from CC
(In reply to comment #6) > I think Brix meant "is NOT keyworded ~ARCH..." Yes, of course - sorry.
It's failing for different reasons on hppa. (In reply to comment #8) > It's failing for different reasons on hppa. On of them is the following : > > MAKEOPTS="-j4" Odd. Some users have reported a similar problem on bug #137025, but I was unable to reproduce it with the split-out ebuild. Could you please try with MAKEOPTS="-j1"?
Yeah my system was quite busy like a load average of 8. It worked fine with MAKEOPTS=-j1 Can you fix that until I keyword it ? :)
(In reply to comment #10) > Can you fix that until I keyword it ? :) Fixed, thank you for testing.
Added ~hppa to KEYWORDS.
It doesn't work if LINGUAS is not set. It gives the following output after running configure... Rebuild the help files: yes Languages: cs de en fr hr it nl sv zh_CN Installation prefix: ${datadir}/gimp/2.0 Optimize PNGs for HTML files: no mkdir: cannot create directory `stamps': File exists make: *** [stamps/mkdirs.it.stamp] Error 1 make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... If I do `LINGUAS="en" emerge gimp-help`, it works fine. Once the problem above is fixed I'll keyword this for alpha. # emerge --info Portage 2.1_rc1-r2 (default-linux/alpha/2006.0, gcc-3.4.6, glibc-2.3.6-r4, 2.6.14.2 alpha) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.14.2 alpha EV56 Gentoo Base System version 1.12.0_pre19 distcc 2.18.3 alpha-unknown-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [enabled] ccache version 2.4 [enabled] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5, 2.4.3-r1 dev-python/pycrypto: 2.0.1-r5 dev-util/ccache: 2.4-r1 dev-util/confcache: [Not Present] sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.17 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r7 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6-r2 sys-devel/binutils: 2.16.1-r2 sys-devel/gcc-config: 1.3.13-r2 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.22 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.11-r4 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="alpha ~alpha" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="alpha-unknown-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-mieee -pipe -O2 -mcpu=ev56" CHOST="alpha-unknown-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/3.5/env /usr/kde/3.5/share/config /usr/kde/3.5/shutdown /usr/share/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /var/bind" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/revdep-rebuild /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-mieee -pipe -O2 -mcpu=ev56" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig ccache distcc distlocks metadata-transfer sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://distfiles.gentoo.org http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j10" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_RSYNC_OPTS="--recursive --links --safe-links --perms --times --compress --force --whole-file --delete --delete-after --stats --timeout=180 --exclude='/distfiles' --exclude='/local' --exclude='/packages'" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="alpha X alsa apache2 arts berkdb bitmap-fonts cli crypt cups dri eds encode esd foomaticdb fortran gdbm gif gnome gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 imlib isdnlog jpeg kde libg++ libwww mad mikmod motif mp3 mpeg ncurses nptl nptlonly ogg opengl oss pam pcre pdflib perl png pppd python qt quicktime readline reflection sdl session spell spl ssl tcpd truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts udev vorbis xml xmms xorg xv zlib elibc_glibc kernel_linux userland_GNU" Unset: CTARGET, EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS, INSTALL_MASK, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, LINGUAS, PORTAGE_RSYNC_EXTRA_OPTS

ia64 done, closing
Stable on mips, actually.
