Description Henrik Brix Andersen 2006-06-18 10:58:24 UTC
Please test and mark app-doc/gimp-help ~ARCH as follows:

~alpha ~amd64 ~hppa ~ia64 ~mips ~ppc ~ppc64 ~sparc ~x86

This ebuild is split-out from media-gfx/gimp in preparation for the upcoming gimp-2.4 release. It is currently only used by the media-gfx/gimp-9999 live CVS ebuild.
Comment 1 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-18 13:44:22 UTC
looks like corsair got this for ~ppc64. removing us from cc

Comment 5 Henrik Brix Andersen 2006-06-21 07:57:14 UTC
I am about to add the latest development snapshot of media-gfx/gimp (2.3.9) to portage to expose it for some testing before gimp-2.4.0 is released.

If app-doc/gimp-help keyworded ~ARCH for your specific architecture I'll have to drop some KEYWORDS from gimp-2.3.9.ebuild.

Just a heads up :)
Comment 6 Wormo (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-24 10:54:40 UTC
I think Brix meant "is NOT keyworded ~ARCH..."

Anyways, ppc is already done by lu_zero, so dropping us from CC

Yes, of course - sorry.
Comment 8 Guy Martin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-25 10:44:18 UTC
It's failing for different reasons on hppa. On of them is the following :

Odd. Some users have reported a similar problem on bug #137025, but I was unable to reproduce it with the split-out ebuild. Could you please try with MAKEOPTS="-j1"?
Comment 10 Guy Martin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-25 14:41:00 UTC
Yeah my system was quite busy like a load average of 8.

It worked fine with MAKEOPTS=-j1

Can you fix that until I keyword it ? :)

Fixed, thank you for testing.

Comment 12 Guy Martin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-25 22:19:52 UTC
Added ~hppa to KEYWORDS.
Comment 13 Thomas Cort (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-27 06:04:29 UTC
It doesn't work if LINGUAS is not set. It gives the following output after running configure...

 Rebuild the help files: yes
Languages: cs de en fr hr it nl sv zh_CN
 Installation prefix: ${datadir}/gimp/2.0
Optimize PNGs for HTML files: no

mkdir: cannot create directory `stamps': File exists
make: *** [stamps/mkdirs.it.stamp] Error 1
make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

If I do `LINGUAS="en" emerge gimp-help`, it works fine. Once the problem above is fixed I'll keyword this for alpha.

Ignore this, it was caused by parallel make. The issue was fixed in comment #11.

Added ~alpha.

Stable on mips, actually.
