Description Blu3 2006-04-08 07:40:59 UTC
Due to a chain of emerge failures resulting in my being unable to build a desktop environment, I have attempted to rebuild a _lot_. Due to a failure of kdelibs to compile based on a glibc issue, I've tried to rebuild glibc. Here's what I get. Note: repeated emerge --resume's generate different failures. Is this build sensitive to compile order? Should the ebuild enforce a -j1? And, in the below error, it states it is building for x86, shouldn't that be x86_64?

Your system is severely broken. Yeah, try to rebuild your system without that crap in C[XX]FLAGS and don't set AUTOCLEAN="no" next time.

Your emerge --info clearly shows a broken system. No need to post more and more errors - yes, it's broken, we can't fix it.
