Description Victor Nawothnig 2006-03-06 10:37:47 UTC
When I close the terminal mc is running in, mc process is still active and needs 100% cpu.
Reproducible always.

Ways to reproduce:
1. Start any terminal
2. Start mc in that terminal
3. End the terminal without ending mc

Workaround:
killall mc if mc is still active.

Is there any chance that this bug will be fixed?..
It causes slow shutdown for me if I forget to exit all copies of MC on shutdown...
Comment 2 Milan Kníek 2006-04-30 11:40:24 UTC
I have exactly the same problem since I have upgrade to amd64. However, in my case it happens only with KDE konsole, while closing the window of xterm or Gnome Terminal finishes the "mc" process correctly. ( It seems that similar problem has appeared earlier to some other user: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/mc/2003-February/msg00001.html )
