Bump!
Comment 5 Conrad Kostecki gentoo-dev 2007-03-11 12:59:32 UTC
And here we go ;)
I created a new ebuild for 0.6.5 ...

First, i included a new german languagefile, which works under unicode correct!

Also i included new depencies for automake, as there are missing, ans so, install would fail.

Also dropped partimagedusers.5, as its now in the archive too ...

THESE PATCHES ARE DROPED, AS THERE ARE ALLREADY INCLUDED
partimage-0.6.4-nodumbpermchecks.diff
partimage-0.6.4-fixserverargs.diff
partimage-0.6.4-fflush-before-re-read-partition-table.patch
partimage-0.6.4-LP64-fixes.patch
partimage-0.6.4-save_all_and_rest_all_actions.patch

THESE PATCHES WERE UPDATED FOR 0.6.5
partimage-0.6.5-chown.patch
partimage-0.6.5-lib64.patch

THESE PATCHES CAN BE USE FROM 0.6.4
partimage-0.6.4-not_install_info.patch
partimage-0.6.4-datadir-path.patch

Partimage 0.6.5 works and compiles here fine!

If there was a lib64 patch why does the ebuild NOT have any keywords related to amd64?

hi, i think that partimage is not ready for amd64 users yet:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=%23391046

dword has 8bytes for amd64, 4bytes for x86,
so if you create an image on amd64, it won't be
compatible/interchangeable with x86.

0.6.6 is out 2007-08-11.
Comment 20 Rafał Mużyło 2007-11-13 19:20:00 UTC
Now for my 2c:
this package has
=sys-libs/slang-1*
in DEPEND and
>=sys-libs/slang-1.4.5-r2
in RDEPEND.
It seems a bit inconsistent.
And as far as I can tell slang-2 should be OK (it seems to be using only SLang_init_tty). Of course, it would have to be fixed for Gentoo libslang -> libslang-2 move.
Comment 21 Billy DeVincentis 2007-11-17 06:24:14 UTC
The Beta version 0.6.7 should be put into an ebuild, as far as I could see, it compiled just fine from source for me.
Comment 22 Christian Zoffoli (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-01-15 12:06:18 UTC
fixed in CVS, please test and reopen if needed.
