If there was a lib64 patch why does the ebuild NOT have any keywords related to amd64?
(In reply to comment #16) > If there was a lib64 patch why does the ebuild NOT have any keywords related to > amd64? > hi, i think that partimage is not ready for amd64 users yet: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=%23391046 dword has 8bytes for amd64, 4bytes for x86, so if you create an image on amd64, it won't be compatible/interchangeable with x86.
0.6.6 is out 2007-08-11.
Now for my 2c: this package has =sys-libs/slang-1* in DEPEND and >=sys-libs/slang-1.4.5-r2 in RDEPEND. It seems a bit inconsistent. And as far as I can tell slang-2 should be OK (it seems to be using only SLang_init_tty). Of course, it would have to be fixed for Gentoo libslang -> libslang-2 move.
The Beta version 0.6.7 should be put into an ebuild, as far as I could see, it compiled just fine from source for me.
fixed in CVS, please test and reopen if needed.
