Description Ed O'Loughlin 2002-11-22 04:16:32 UTC
Entered on bugs.kde.org: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51035

I just installed kde 3.0.4 (prevoiusly 3.0.3), which also upgraded to qt 3.1.0

I had konsole as part of my saved session when I logged out of 3.0.3 and back in
to 3.0.4.

Konsole now starts automatically when I log in (3.0.3 and 3.0.4) but I can't
start a new one. I'm not using a transparent background. I can't start it from
the command line (xterm), menu etc.

Here's the stack trace:

Comment 1 Ed O'Loughlin 2002-11-22 11:58:18 UTC
This bug (http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51035) has been closed on
bugs.kde.org.
I did an emerge --update world and got qt 3.1, which is incompatible with kde
3.0.4. Is this a valid thing for portage to do or is it due to a bad dependency
somewhere?
Comment 2 Hannes Mehnert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-11-23 05:45:42 UTC
this is fixed in kdebase-3.0.4-r3.
