Description Martin Larsen 2002-11-19 17:20:05 UTC
After installing qt-3.1.0 konsole segfaults at startup. Everything else seems
to work fine, though.

GCC is 2.95.3, CFLAGS="-march=i686 -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer
-malign-functions=4"

I've triede to re-emerge kdebase and kdelibs to no avail.

It seems like I'm not the only one with this problem
(http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=22982)

Please request more information if necessary.

TIA
Martin

Same here with CFLAGS="-march=i686 -O3 -pipe", also curiously my saved KDE session has a number of open Konsoles in it and these come back OK when logging in, but I can't start new ones. Also tried starting Konsole with just twm/xterm loaded rather than the whole of KDE and got the same result.

Please test the new kdebase-3.0.4-r3, which should fix this.
