Description Lisa Wolf 2005-08-03 17:40:35 UTC
When I do an 'emerge --deep --update proftpd' I get this:
Calculating dependencies ...done!
[blocks B ] <net-ftp/proftpd-1.2.10-r6 (is blocking net-ftp/ftpbase-0.00)
[ebuild N ] net-ftp/ftpbase-0.00
[ebuild U ] net-ftp/proftpd-1.2.10-r7 [1.2.10-r1]

It seems that proftpd requires ftpbase, but is also blocking it.

I've got this the last few days, but was hoping a more recent emerge --sync
would fix it.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge --sync
2.emerge --deep --update proftpd
3.

Actual Results:
[blocks B ] <net-ftp/proftpd-1.2.10-r6 (is blocking net-ftp/ftpbase-0.00)
[ebuild N ] net-ftp/ftpbase-0.00
[ebuild U ] net-ftp/proftpd-1.2.10-r7 [1.2.10-r1]

Expected Results:
Emerged proftpd.
