Created attachment 891042 [details] emerge --info Hi, now that freerdp-3.x becomes stable for amd64 I need to issue this bug report. I have two issues with freerdp-3.x: (1) I am getting graphical artifacts. They look as if parts of the remote screen had been cut out and then slightly moved, or surrounded by thin lines. (2) Anything I type becomes entirely random key events remotely. So, unfortunatelly no way to use freerdp-3.x. I need to downgrade to 2.x. Some more information: - I am using wayland, no X. - I am having this issue with *any* freerdp-3.x version in portage since. - I am having *no* issue with freerdp-2.x - I am starting from the console: wlfreerdp -v:REMOTE_HOST -u:Administrator - I tested rdp against Windows 11 Professional and Windows Server 2016 - Despite my default is +lto, freerdp is excluded from lto via packages.env - BTW: There is freerdp-3.5.x in portage but this segfaults right away Any advice?
The Wayland client is deprecated upstream. Please try the SDL client instead.

This creates problems downstream of freerdp, stable kde-apps/krdc expects wlfreerdp and no configuration is provided to switch it to sdlfreerdp. And I am not sure the ~amd64 version will do either.
Take it up with the Kroc project. There is nothing I can do about it.
