Upstream flagged exa as unmaintained (no release in 2 years). There is a community fork called `eza` that continues the project. I suggest to replace exa with eza. Upstream issue: https://github.com/ogham/exa/issues/1243 Eza project: https://github.com/eza-community/eza
Most importantly, eza will contain the Gentoo icon I added to exa which never got into a release.
