The version in portage is very old (2017), please bump ! There are currently two versions available for linux * "classic 5", at version 5.0.574 * "classic 6", at version 5.0.574 as well Not sure what the difference is, it seems related to the interface. Reproducible: Always
Please do something. Geogebra is about to be removed from gentoo, i have this installed on almost all the computer i'm taking care of (~20). People use it daily.
Thomas, I fully support you. Geogebra is very wide spread and important for our users. I am not sure how we can fix the problem, but it does not belong to this ticket. Please follow up on #719076
I've added geogebra-bin-5.0.604.0, please try it out with new openjdk[javafx] original, non-bin geogebra also can be saved, if it switches dependency to openjdk. but problem is it does not build with current gradle anyway, so ebuild needs a bit of work. please let me know how how new geogebra-bin works for you.
