I have seen this is still relying on dead gnome2 python bindings. But I see upstream is moving to gtk3 in commits since 0.6.2... hence, maybe this will get fixed soon. I open this for tracking purposes then Thanks
This has been fixed upstream by commit 862c598908272458c9071da3aba184ae5388a8e5 Author: Lars Kruse <devel@sumpfralle.de> Date: Sat Dec 23 16:16:49 2017 +0100 drop python2 support: update dependencies but is not available in any tagged version. Perhaps our maintainer would like to poke upstream to ask for a release.
Upstream appears to be dead.
It looks still active here: https://github.com/SebKuzminsky/pycam/commits/master
