I have seen this is still relying on dead gnome2 python bindings. But I see upstream is moving to gtk3 in commits since 0.6.2... hence, maybe this will get fixed soon.

I open this for tracking purposes then

This has been fixed upstream by

    drop python2 support: update dependencies

but is not available in any tagged version.

Perhaps our maintainer would like to poke upstream to ask for a release.
