Description Dragan Kašler 2017-05-07 17:38:54 UTC
Stable 1.8.x serie is around for a few months already [1], while current version from Portage is about 5 years old.

Thank you in advance.

Hi, I have yet to start working on this as the ebuild needs to be rewritten from scratch.
Comment 2 Joe 2017-08-20 18:57:54 UTC
Is there any news about the new version? The current version is pretty much unusable since it requires and older version of tcl which is not provided by Gentoo anymore.

Can someone try the attached ebuild? I had to rewrite the old one, in particular I removed all the old third party modules.

Works for me. Had to try this now, when the one in tree refused to work any more due to it segfaulting when connecting to servers using SSL.

I stumbled a bit on the attached file being in DOS format, resulting in manifest creation tool choking with a nonsensical error. But having fixed that it was all fine going forward.

Thanks for the feedback. I wonder where the line endings came from, maybe I pasted the text instead of attaching the file.
