Dear all, if I understand the message at [1] right, then there are plans to shutdown gna.org at some day in may 2017. Using a similar command as the one proposed at [2], I can see that there are still 320 files in the main-repository which use gna.org as their source provider: grep "URI=" -R /usr/portage/metadata/md5-cache | grep "googlecode\.com" | wc -l References: [1] https://mail.gna.org/public/project/2016-11/msg00001.html#header [2] https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Shutdown_of_google_code
On my system: $ qgrep -N gna.org | grep "URI=" | grep -v "^#" | cut -f1 -d":" | wc -l 82
Upps, you are right! Typical copy/paste error! These are the real results on my workstation: qgrep -N gna.org | grep "URI=" | grep -v "^#" | cut -f1 -d":" | wc -l 82 grep "URI=" -R /usr/portage/metadata/md5-cache | grep "gna\.org" | wc -l 82 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ qgrep -N gna.com | grep "URI=" | grep -v "^#" | cut -f1 -d":" | wc -l 1 grep "URI=" -R /usr/portage/metadata/md5-cache | grep "gna\.com" | wc -l 1
bug 691218 and bug 691186 should also block this one
