If you want to test it, I can give you access to an armv7 device. It's not the speediest of machines, but it is a quad core.
But I don't know how to run graphical stuff there :(, is that possible?

It would be slow, but can enable X forwarding, sure.
Can't you run it locally? If my connection is really slow even opening firefox remotely, I am really unsure about running full gnome in that way :(
Will wait until a user requests it as clearly this arches don't have resources to do this for now
