When in openoffice-bin I choose to "save as.." when I push save it crashes and doesn't save anything

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a new document
2.File->Save As..
3.Save

Actual Results:  
crash

Expected Results:  
should save file correctly

Not here; plus we cannot fix -bin at all. Also, try w/ 2.2.1

Which file selector do you use? (original, gnome, kde) Mostly when we saw this issue, this had something to do with permissions or a home on NFS. Also there were some problems with non-utf8 systems and the kde fileselector.

Can't reproduce here, please also don't file bugs as critical cause something crashes for you.

i'm using gnome

my home is local, I save file on my home dir, so i don't think it's a problem with permissions.

my system is utf8

For me it crashes... on closing (single) windows, opening additional files, opening files from commandline, randomly in between, on saving, changing zoom (in openoffice calc), ...

Yes, the system is non-utf. No slang or iconv useflags. I'm using E17 without any additional decorators.

Is that the problem?
