This bug tracks bugs with applications breaking vs. gtk+-2.4. This usually is
because upstream coders left the G*_DISABLE_DEPRECATED flags in stable
releases.

Fixing means removing these flags.

I'm been trying to compile Gnome for one week now and it seems impossible to
compile the 'libgnomeui' 

How do I fix the 'G*_DISABLE_DEPRECATED' flag or 'Fixing means removing these
flags' 

Is there going to be a fix in the ebuilds for this (if there is the case)? Or
shall I report the bug someotherwere?

use stable ( not ~x86 ) and you should be fine, you do this to yourself by
choosing the testing branch. If libgnomeui also has deprecation problems
itself, please file a bug here.
