"SvnClientAdapter is a high level java API for subversion."
SvnClientAdapter is required by Subclipse, a Subversion plugin for Eclipse. I hope to make an ebuild for Subclipse very soon. This package requires JavaSVN, which I just made an ebuild and filed a bug for in bug #98947. I had to build the tarball myself since there isn't one available. I did a checkout from the Subversion repository and removed the unnecessary dependencies and Windows DLLs.

Many improvements. Ideally, it needs bug #99245 to be fixed and it also depends
on JavaSVN, which needs the new java-pkg.eclass stuff so this one will have to
wait for now...

Gah! I assumed that because there had been nothing new in the changelog since
0.9.23, there had been no changes and they were simply bumping up the version
numbers to match those of Subclipse. This is not the case as I discovered when
I tried to compile version 0.9.32 of Subclipse. Nothing in the ebuild itself
had to be changed.
Closing this because it is in chewi-overlay.
Please don't resolve until it is in the main tree.
This ebuild request has been reported in 2005 (!). Do we still want it added to the tree ? If someone does, please comment. Otherwise I will close this bug.
@James: you've reported this bug. Please let us know. Thanks.
As just mentioned in bug #98947, this is (was?) used by Subclipse and we don't even package Eclipse any more, never mind the plugins. This should probably be closed as WONTFIX along with the other bug and the ebuild should be removed from java-overlay.
Thanks James. Closing it then.
