The problem is solved when I do mv /usr/lib/usr/lib/libkommanderwidgets.la /usr/lib/libkommanderwidgets.la.old as quanta uses /usr/kde/3.4/lib/libkommanderwidgets.la when it doesn't find /usr/lib/libkommanderwidgets.la. I cannot be sure but the problem arises when you upgrade from kde3.3 to 3.4. I never used quanta before though. The solution came from this link http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/quanta/2004-June/004325.html This is a kde update and multiversions problem surely.
