I use kde 3.4.1 on my gentoo box and when I try to start knode from a console, nothing happens. Any ideas how to troubleshoot this? I should mention that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I can also say that sometimes I have to start kmail (nothing happens) then I do "killall kmail" and start it again, and kmail emerges on the screen. This method can't solve the problem with knode, unfortunately. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
It could be that there's a crashed instance of knode around, but we have no way to say what's happening without any info, any output from the console... Please try with http://forums.gentoo.org as this is more a request for support than a bug report.
