Description Esme Cowles 2005-06-19 07:19:02 UTC
The test on lines 41-46 that tests if xorg-x11 is installed fails when xorg-unichrome is used. When this
test is commented out, opengl-update works fine.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge xorg-unichrome
2. opengl-update xorg-x11

Actual Results:
Error message: * This version requires >=x11-base/xorg-x11-6.8.0-r4

Expected Results:
Successfully finding xorg-unichrome
Comment 1 Kamil Gornik 2005-07-02 00:23:46 UTC
xorg-unichrome isn't official ebuild, see
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94807
either rename ebuild to xorg-x11-6.8.2-r1.ebuild or use different ebuild from
that bug's attachment list

Exactly, this is not part of the Portage tree yet and thus not supported by the
general developer pool. Unless it's at special request, any input should be put
into the appropriate tracking bug.

I've added the appropriate bug URL to this bug, please file all issues there.
