configure fails on right compiler check

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
emerge gcc
emerge openssh
Actual Results:  
checking compiler and flags for sanity... no
configure: error: *** compiler cannot create working executables, check
config.log ***

configure: failed program was:
| #ifndef __cplusplus
|   choke me
| #endif



Expected Results:  
Pass the test.

OK, see bug Bug 94458 - try to re-emerge openldap and report back.

works... could there be a *beep* *beep* *beep* before this compile or after the
ldap compile so you can't miss the revdep?

Not exactly the problem. There is a bug in openldap that requires to compile it
twice to work properly (Bug 93074).
