Description rob holland (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-03 03:13:31 UTC
hi, can we have an rc that causes bootmisc to just delete everything in /tmp on boot please?

"cleaner" than a local.start hack ;)
Comment 1 Radek Podgorny 2005-06-03 05:15:38 UTC
I think /var may be cleaned as well. At least some of its subdirs like /var/tmp
or so...
Comment 2 rob holland (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-03 05:32:50 UTC
er, no :) /var/tmp/ shouldn't be wiped on a reboot. Thats the point of it.
