Hello dear maintainers,
I'm not very familiar with the versioning of dev-php/twig, by that I mean that I  don't know what each major has bring new.
However I do know the current version in portage for v1, the v1.44.7, is from Sep 28, 2022.
That version should be bumped to v1.44.8 is from Sep 9, 2024.

Versions v3.18.0 and v2.16.1 should be added too.
