The existing ebuild mpd-0.23.15-r3 references the following:

# <libfmt-11 https://github.com/MusicPlayerDaemon/MPD/issues/2141

which has been fixed in 0.23.16.

mpd-0.23.15-r3 blocks an update to dev-libs/libfmt-11.0.2

Reproducible: Always




Minor changes to the mpd-0.23.15-r3 ebuild appears to work (it compiles). 

However, I appear to not have used mpd for quite some time, so I haven't been able to test it yet.
