In the tools menu, the addon manager menu does not appear. A web search seems to show that this has happened with other distributions and is related to packaging.

Note: If I use the AppImage version, this menu appears, I install the addon, and the extension appears in the Gentoo version.

That's what the addonmgr USE flag is for. https://packages.gentoo.org/useflags/addonmgr
