Description Kurt Guenther 2005-05-31 12:45:53 UTC
I've been in the habit of setting my EDITOR to:

export EDITOR="emacs -nw"

which worked well for years until I emerged: sys-apps/baselayout-1.11.12-r4

I started getting this error:
+ '[' -z emacs -nw ']'
/etc/profile: line 33: [: emacs: binary operator expected
+ '[' -z emacs -nw ']'
/etc/profile: line 34: [: emacs: binary operator expected
+ export EDITOR

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Update profile.env to have: export EDITOR="emacs -nw"
