Here is an updated gaim-smileys ebuild, it has all non-404, non-rar and non weird-format, accessible (downloadable) themes as of today. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 59982 [details] gaim-smileys-20050528.ebuild x11-themes/gaim-smileys/gaim-smileys-20050528.ebuild Bumped previous version, added and removed various themes, all download successfully here and now.
No maintainer, the ebuild in the tree is outdated like hell, has loads of unversioned tarballs, this one is no better. If people want such stuff, they can easily install it manually. Please, vote. ++
There is a ported version in bug #178912 Also, I'd vote this can wait until the great gaim removal. At some point in the near future (when enough plugins are ported), we'll mark pidgin as stable. Then a few weeks later, we'll remove gaim and all related packages that are still unported.

I agree with you. I won't be putting the other ebuild in the tree, or maintaining it. But if someone else wants to do it.
x11-themes/pidgin-smileys in the tree, this can be now removed. *pidgin-smileys-20071023 (24 Oct 2007) 24 Oct 2007; Steve Dibb <beandog@gentoo.org> +metadata.xml, +pidgin-smileys-20071023.ebuild: Initial import, bug 178912
Lets wait until the great gaim removal, I'll take care of it.
