Last upstream snapshot "release" happened in 2016, no development since then. Projects still depending on it should look into porting away to QSystemTrayIcon (part of dev-qt/qtwidgets:5 or dev-qt/qtbase:6[widgets] or kde-frameworks/kstatusnotifieritem:6 (which incidentally carries a fork of those libdbusmenu-qt parts necessary for KStatusNotifierItem - this was in KF5 times part of kde-frameworks/knotifications:5[dbus]). Please note that I will drop kde proj package maintenance from this package the moment kde-frameworks/knotifications:5 can be masked for last-rites.
This is no longer relevant for any KDE project revdeps and it was never a KDE project to begin with, so dropping to maintainer-needed.
